Professor Dave Lewis has decided to stand down as the inaugural Chair of the Academic Council due to additional work pressures and his plan for phased retirement programme. We would like to take this opportunity to extend our deep thanks for his energy, commitment and valuable contributions-especially in our discussions with Ministers. He will continue as a Trustee and member of the Academic Council going forward.

We would also like to announce that Professor John Blenkinsopp of Northumbria University, a current member of the Academic Council, has accepted our invitation to assume the Chair. He will also be joining the Board of Trustees and we look forward to his greater participation in driving forward our whistleblowing related research in the future.
