British Standards Awards 2021 Winner: Professor Wim Vandekerckhove BA PGCert MA PhD

Wim has been selected for his tremendous dedication and impact leading the development of ISO 37002 on whistleblowing, and for an inclusive and diplomatic approach in leading the BSI sub-committee and ISO Working Group responsible for the standard. ISO 37002 aims to provide organizations with guidelines for implementing, managing, evaluating, maintaining and improving robust and effective whistleblowing management systems whilst protecting whistle-blowers and other parties involved, and Wim’s outstanding contribution has been invaluable in creating a standard which achieves those objectives.
